Proposed new build three bedroom house located on a compact London brown field site. The site potential was exploited by splitting the proposed house into two main components which ensured the design responded positively within its context. The lower single storey wing is part of the landscape in scale and materials.
The integrated garden boundary wall and landscaped roof re-enforce this concept. The entrance link and front lower single storey section of the living area, responds to the neighbouring balcony mass and serves as a seamless transition from the single storey landscaped wing to the main, two storey building. The single storey wing element provides a physical continnuity to the streetscape along Hazellville Road.
